Our Values

The TLC Values are built on a biblical foundation of  love, restoration, and service.

We will love the Lord, our community, and one another.

Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself. (Matt.22:36-39){NKJV}

We will restore one another in gentleness.

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. For each one shall bear his own load.”(Galations 6:1-5) {NKJV}

It does not matter if any one person works one hour a week or forty,we are all here to serve and treat one another equally. Every person has come here voluntarily with unique abilities. We are all separate parts of the body, but together we function as a whole.(Matt.20:1-16){NKJV}

The expected conduct of service of all involved is translated directly from Colossians 3:12-17 {NKJV} 12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also.
